Earlier in the month, I had the pleasure of being selected to participate in a special Handmade Holiday event hosted by Etsy and West Elm. It was an incredibly fun and unique experience which I am grateful to have been a part of. Throughout the event I met some very awesome people and had the opportunity to connect with some amazing local Etsy-ers. We also created holiday ornaments and decorated a Christmas tree which was donated to Great Oaks Village, a residential group home for children ages 6-18 who have been removed from their home due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. ❤ Thank you to West Elm and Etsy for the opportunity to have been a part of this event, as well as to everyone who took part in making it happen.
This was my small setup at the event, with the idea being that we use merchandise from West Elm to display our products rather than bringing our own displays. It was fun to play around in the store and envision new ways of showcasing our work, as well as a little different to see my pieces in a retail setting rather than my studio or a craft show as I usually do. I actually ended up buying the soup spoon set, little trey set, and this adorable hand painted mini plate that I used during the event!
The photos above were taken by Jacqueline of Punctuation Jewelry, one of the lovely vendors at the event. You can check out her shop, as well as the other local Etsy-ers who were a part of the event, through the links below. 🙂
